International Study: Young Adults Hit by “News Fatigue”

In the search for the elusive younger newspaper reader, Associated Press is supporting a new model of presenting news to younger reader, to help them wade through what they view as clutter. It starts with a news alert for breaking news, followed by a one paragraph summary in the present tense, and then more details at the end. Study was based on youth patterns of reading in England, U.S. and India.
