Networks dying, specialty channels thriving

Interesting Star story points out that it’s not just newspapers that are suffering: over the air television nets haven’t made money since 2005. Specialty channels though are raking it in (which is why CanWest bought a whole bunch of them.) Maybe niche is the profitable way to go.
